Darling Diva Polish Muscle Car Divas: Cobra, Chevelle & Shelby

Vroom vroom!  Are you ready for some muscle car love?  I was totally in love the minute I opened up this package and saw the contents.  Super blingy glitter bombs in bright, eye catching colors that are inspired by classic muscle cars.  I'll take one of each (polish and car) please!  Carrie, the maker behind Darling Diva Polish has really done an excellent job on these polishes and I hope I've done them justice.  This sparkly babies were super hard to get pictures of...much like getting a 2 year old to stand still and say cheese.  So tie on your head-kerchief, slap on your cat eye glasses, swipe on some bright red lipstick and let's cruise!

Up first is Cobra.  Cobra is a medium, bubblegum pink polish that has a lightly pink tinted base and mass quantities of pink and holo glitter.  I tried this (and Chevelle) over a matching base color and then alone and I really have to say that when you build these glitters up on themselves it really creates some amazing depth and sparkle factor.  Cobra built up very easily in 3 coats and I had no issues with formula or application.  Cobra was very easy to use and spread nicely on my nails.  I used 1 to 2 layers of topcoat for extra glossiness.

Chevelle is a stunning blue and aqua glitter bomb!  Much like Cobra, Chevelle is in a lightly blue tinted base.  The glitter is dense, sparkly and gorgeous.  I used 3 easy to apply coats for complete coverage.  The formula was really great and the application was easy.  I used 1 to 2 layers of topcoat for glossiness.  My pictures show Chevelle as more blue than aqua, the macro is closest to the actual color.

Shelby is an amazing thing.  It literally looks like a rainbow exploded on my nails.  There are so many colors and it's so sparkly!  The base for Shelby is slightly red tinted.  Just like the last 2 you can easily build this up all on it's own for complete coverage.  I used 3 coats for my pictures below.  Shelby also had a great formula and easy application.  I used 1 to 2 layers of topcoat for glossiness.  I apologize for the shoddy macro of Shelby - it sparkled so much I couldn't get a very clear image.
