Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Ampoules

Hi everyone,

Today is all about glowy and healthy skin thanks to the new addition to the Advanced Night Repair family by Estée Lauder: The Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules.

I've already talked several times about different products of the ANR (Advanced Night Repair) family (here, here, here, and here) and all the ANR products I've tried so far convinced me that this famous Estée Lauder's line is phenomenal.

What Estée Lauder says about it

Precision dose helps renew visibly stressed skin.
This powerful recovery concentrate calms and rapidly renews the look of over-stressed skin, helping to strengthen its resistance against future assaults.
This treatment oil includes ChronoluxAI technology to help reduce visible irritation and synchronize the look of skin.

It's ideal for: Brightening and repairing, calming visibly stressed skin, soothing irritation, strengthening skin. It acts as a fortifying oil treatment.

Estée Lauder suggests to use it every day as a two-week treatment for a more supple, smooth, bright and beautiful skin. Then you can use it whenever you feel your skin needs a little extra care.

Packaging

The product comes in single-use ampoules. There are 60 ampoules in a jar.
Before use, you have to twist the top of the ampoule and squeeze out the contents. Be careful to twist the top slowly and not to hold the ampoule too tightly if you don't want to spill the product all over.
Each ampoule is small but it contains enough product for your face and neck. In fact there is almost too much product per ampoule, so I use the leftover product on my cuticles because I don't want to waste this precious product!

How it feels/smells

It's an oil blend thus it feels oily but is rather quickly abosrbed (unless you use too much product). It doesn't have a particular smell.

Ingredients:
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollient), Squalene (emollient), Aleurites Molucanna (Fukui) Nut Oil (emollient, antioxiant), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil (emollient, antioxiant), Bisabolol (soothing agent, skin conditioner), Garcinia Mangostana Peel Extract (antioxiant), Salicornia Herbacea Extract (antioxidant), Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract (antioxidant), Salvia Hispanica Seed Extract (antioxidant), Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract (antioxidant, soothing agent), Rosmarinus Officials (Rosemary) Leaf Extract (antioxidant, fragrance), Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract (antioxidant), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (emollient), Camelina Sativa Seed Oil (emollient), Vacinnium Myrtillus Seed Oil (emollient, antioxiant), Tocopheryl Acetate (antioxiant), Cholesterol (skin-restoring), Linoleic Acid (emollient, antioxidant, skin-restoring), Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (antioxidant, preservative), BHT (antioxidant, preservative).

Summary / Thoughts

As you can see from the ingredient list the ampoules can actually be considered as a facial oil blend. They contain emollients (caprylic/capric triglyceride, squalene) and many plant oils and plant exatracts containing beneficial and protective antioxidants. They also contain some soothing agents.

Together these ingredients make a pretty amazing facial oil able to help to repair stressed skin. Each ampoule will moisturize, condition and protect the skin. The emollient formula is perfect for dry skin but with my combo to normal skin, I'm also able to use it a few days a week for a moisture boost.
Honestly if your skin is dry, dehydrated (your skin can be oily but dehydrated), or flaky, that's a product that would be perfect for you and that I would totally recommend!
This facial oil blend is actually just amazing for anyone who want a boost of nourishing skin treatment. It can especially be useful when seasonal cold or drier climates disturb your skin.

In terms of effects, it immediately provide a moisturizing and soothing effect. I like using it when I feel that my cheeks and under eye area feel dry in the evening just before going to bed. Moreover with its powerful blend of antioxidants it helps to reduce the redness that I tend to have on my cheeks. The next morning my skin will feel smoother, softer, and more resilient! It also provides a radiant glow.

So yes, I'm convinced and I think it's a great product. Dare I even say that it's the best western skincare product of the year for me? Yes, I do! :D
