A 44-year-old man from Mpekema village in Gokwe district of Zimbabwe, has been arrested and charged to court for having raping and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter who gave birth to a baby boy recently, reports My Zimbabwe.
While appearing Provincial Magistrate Sithabile Zungula on two-counts of rape and incest, the girl narrated how her father had been raping her regularly and warned her that he would kill her if she ever told anyone.

The prosecuting counsel, Mary Chapinda, told the court that on October 6 last year, the man sneaked into his daughter's bedroom at night and raped her without using protection and when he was through, he threatened her with death before sneaking out of the hut.
Chapinda said the man continued in the incestuous act till the girl fell pregnant but she could still not tell anyone about the abuse because of the threat of death from her father.
"The girl gave birth to a baby boy on August 5 this year. Upon being asked who the father of the baby was, the girl revealed the abuse she suffered at her father's hands," said Chapinda.
The man was remanded in prison custody till October 23 for plea recording.
