Pfizer booster shots approved for children ages 12 to 15

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has approved booster shots of the Pfizer vaccine for children between the ages of 12 and 15.

According to the news agency Reuters, the CDC has made this decision on the suggestion of experts who believe that booster shots of Corona vaccine can be given to children between the ages of 12 and 15 years.

Thirteen members of the CDC's advisory committee have called for booster shots to be given to children this age who have been asked to give shots five months after the second dose of the vaccine, while one member of the committee did not vote in favor of the decision. GaveThe committee also said that the CDC should strengthen its proposal to impose booster shots on 16- to 17-year-olds. Earlier, the CDC had proposed booster shots for young people of this age, but the agency did not emphasize that shots should be used for all people of this age.

The CDC said in a statement that people between the ages of 12 and 17 should receive a booster shot five months after the second dose of Pfizer.

The committee was also presented with data from the Israeli Ministry of Health, which showed that 12- to 15-year-olds who had been given a second dose for five to six months had a higher risk of contracting omega-3. There were as many as unvaccinated children.

According to the data, after the booster shot was applied, there was a clear decrease in the rate of exposure to Omi Kron.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also allowed children between the ages of 12 and 17 to take booster shots on Monday.

However, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have led to cases of myocarditis, especially in young men, which has led some scientists to raise concerns about booster shots.

The Israeli Ministry of Health said in a statement on Wednesday that 44,000 children between the ages of 12 and 15 had been given a third dose of Pfizer, with only two complaining of heartburn.

The proliferation of Corona's Omi Kroon variant has led to a record increase in the number of cases in the United States, with booster shots being called for.
